They won’t care for your past
They won’t care for your history
They only want your smile.
Truth? They won’t seek it
Lie! They don’t care!
You hide your unhappiness
They won’t care
Just as long as you smile!
Walking through glass floor
They will only see you fall
But still, they won’t care!
Hide the pain you feel
They don’t want to see it
All what they want
Is your smile!
So smile silly one
Be sure it covers your face and shines
Because is that all what they will see
No tears, no scars, no shame
They will only see your smile
Because tears, they are full of them
Pain? They can’t bear any more of it
Shame! They overwhelm with it
So just smile child
See the happiness that isn’t there
See the pretence joy
That they wish so much to feel!
If all of that, is what you want
Then smile
